Kaia attended the 30-year-old Ridge Road Book Club ‘s discussion of The War Requiem. She read, she sang, she answered questions, and had a delightful time with the members of this long-standing book club.

Kaia spoke on a panel with four other authors for the 2021 Martha’s Vineyard Institute of Creative Writing Conference. Topics included how to promote your book, starting a podcast, and what goes on in the world of publishing. Kaia focused on how she self-promoted her book using social media, saying “yes” to every opportunity that came her way, and by creating opportunities for herself.
